About Us
At Pruit Investments we focus on the acquisition and ownership of industrial real estate assets. Our journey began in Santa Monica, CA, with the conversion of Pruit Lumber into a self-storage facility, Santa Monica Mini Storage. In 1984, building B was completed on the back parcels, doubling the size of the business.
In 2000, Pruit Investments expanded with the development of Nipomo Self Storage. In 2004 Nipomo Industrial Park was completed, which comprised of 19 industrial offices. Then in 2008, the company purchased two self-storage facilities in San Luis Obispo; Mission Storage Center and Mighty Safe Mini Storage.
In 2022, Pruit Investments sold all California-based assets and purchased self-storage facilities in the Nashville metropolitan area. An additional facility was purchased in Tampa, FL in 2023. Our portfolio is now 100% self-storage focused and is comprised of over 300,000+ square feet of space and 3,000+ units.
